Ever wanted to own your own X-Ray machine, but don't have the funds or license? That's exactly what Grenadier did in a definite case of don't try this at home!
He used a Coolidge tube with a large amount of voltage pumped through it. It features 2 boxes - 1 with a tube and 1 with the controller. It features temperature and voltage sensors, and looks pretty industrial. Since his blog post appears to be down, you won't be able to follow the instructions to make your own (probably for the best!), so here's a a video instead.
